From the attached article: "We have not seen this type of legislation since the Jim Crow laws." I liked this quote from Arizona legal defender Isabella Garcia, I think it encapsulates what is truly going on with this bill in an appropriate and historical manner. Perhaps it is fornuate that the Governor has not taken a public stance yet, or not?
