Book Discussion--Mexico and the United States: Scholar explores unequal partnership

Sidney Weintraub, professor emeritus at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, will discuss his most recent book, "Unequal Partners: The United States and Mexico," which examines the current relationship between Mexico and the United States as one of sustained dependence and dominance in the areas of trade, investment and finance, narcotics, energy, migration and the border.  Dr. Weintraub holds the William E. Simon chair in political economy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. He served as Dean Rusk professor at the LBJ School from 1976 to 1994, after which he joined CSIS.
