All who are concerned about the detrimental impact of US immigration laws on millions of US citizen children whose parent or parents are undocumented should support the Child Citizen Protection Act (HR 182) which has been introduced in the House. Write to your Congressional representative and urge him or her to co-sponsor this bill. If passed, this legislation would allow immigration judges to consider the best interests of a US citizen child when deciding whether to deport or detain an undocumented parent.
